The active substances are used in biocidal products. Sometimes it is just a dilution to achieve a better dosage of the concentrated active ingredient. So that the active substance gets to where it is supposed to work.<\/p>\n

However, secondary ingredients in a formulation can also increase its effectiveness, for example by optimizing the pH value or reducing the surface tension by adding a surfactant.<\/p>\n

It is the special art of formulators to optimize their biocidal products for the respective purpose and user.<\/p>\n

However, as even the best biocidal products pose a risk of harming humans, animals or the environment when used, the legislator has introduced strict rules. This means that only biocidal products that have been adequately tested for efficacy and potential harmfulness may be marketed. And have passed the test.<\/p>\n

Once you or your consultant have also prepared the authorization dossier, national authorities or the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA<\/a>) have checked the dosage and finally granted authorization, you can start selling. Or you can continue with it.<\/p>\n
