Hans-Peter Rieck founded Prosacon GmbH in 2006 and has been managing the company since then. He studied chemistry in Braunschweig and completed his studies with a doctorate. He worked for many years at Hoechst and then at Clariant in various positions, gaining extensive experience in the international chemical industry. Particular highlights were a four-year assignment for Hoechst in Japan in the area of marketing / sales as well as the development of a new detergent raw material from the invention in the laboratory to the construction of a large production plant and the worldwide marketing of the product.

Hans-Peter Rieck was also given global responsibility for the safety of Clariant’s production facilities for pigments and additives. After all, he was also responsible for product safety for the same business division. He followed the REACH regulation, which was new at the time, intensively since the “White Paper” in 2001. He was particularly interested in efficient implementation while at the same time meeting legal requirements (compliance).

In 2012, Hans-Peter Rieck expanded Prosacon’s activities to include biocidal products. Other product areas with high regulatory requirements cannot be ruled out in the future. In general, the company’s slogan “The safety of your products is our goal” applies.
